hmm, mostly trip-hop stuff, and some worldish beats - like the Thievery Corp. and some Amon Tobin, Gorillaz, stuff kind of like that. It's my first time, and I'm not going to venture into some of my musical tastes, feel it out a bit.

ganbatte........that is a a Japanese word/saying I have heard so much that it makes me sick. However, this would be the appropriate time to say it to you. It basically means something like, "Never say die." People say it when they are wishing you good luck and/or strength to get through some task. So you go! ganbatte!

No, I didn't advertise, other than here and email. It's kind of a dinner crowd, so early 6-9, I think he just wants me to start out and see if he likes my stuff, and if I do well, then, who knows? I think many of my friends here are coming, and some of the baristas from the shop as well...
