"Now if you add up the numbers of his full name using this system, according to the table above you get 7+5+6+9+7+5 for George, +5+1+3+2+5+9 for Walker, and +2+3+1+8 for Bush, which all adds up to a total of 78 = 7+8 = 15 = 1+5 = 6."
Good one! So intricate that it feels like it could be someones college thesis. But the music accompanying it was bizarre. half indian restaurant/half yanniesque. so how do we get the devil impeached? he is a freakin mess.
I keep hoping the Christpublicans realize how similar Gee Dub is to the villian in those eighth grade reading level "Left Behind" books that they like so much.
Rocky Horror, to me, is something from teen years. At the time, I never really got into, but many of my friends did. I tried to see the humor, and sometimes I did laugh, and I really have liked Tim Curry in some roles. In summation, I'm pretty indifferent to it, Quine.
I always thought the thing that made Rocky Horror was the audience participation. Seeing the lines outside the midnight showings in NYC in the 80's,I could see it was a huge cult thing and wanted to go but knowing they made 'virgins' get up and dance kept me from doing it. I saw the movie at home and was bored. But like Amber I do like Tim Curry. he has that kind of John Malkovitch charm I like.
Love and have loved Rocky Horror for 16 years or so. Best Rock musical ever, except maybe for Hedwig. Jade and I are going to see the movie with live actors on stage at the Missouri Theatre on Wednesday. I've probably seen the movie somewhere in the ballpark of 50-100 times. I saw your post, Quine. Looks like you went to a really wild showing.
My heart is a whale song, my eyes find spirals everywhere, my mouth speaks of broken chords and dying trees, my feet find the ground uneven and yet so irresistible.
