There are a few artists represented here, some of my favorites. I'm going to tell you that I find a lot of the art I love on www.artmagick.com. Another good site is Art Passsions...

The first is Lucien Levy-Dhurmer "The Gust of Wind"

The second is a wallpaper I got from somewhere, damn if I can remember where.

The third is Charles Rennie Mackintosh, if you don't know who he is, google him. He's one of my favourite artists.

The last is Kay Nielsen, which Cassie actually inadvertently found prints of for me in some antiques store in Parkville years ago. If you go to this link you will see the print she gave me: fairy tales

A few of my other favourite artists all tend to be illustrators of childrens books from the turn of the century through the Art Deco period. Such as Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Charles Robinson, etc.

I can't believe I haven't been posting about my obsessions. IN FACT from reading this blog a stranger might not even know what interests me and what I'm passionate about. I'll have to change this...

I am familiar with Mackintosh! I think he's Scottish and I have some small earrings I bought there from a collection that is based on his art.

Yes, he was Scottish, he designed the Glasgow school of art, numerous tea houses in Glasgow, among other things. His wife was an artist as well - Margaret McDonald, and her sister was too, who also married an artist. They were referred to as the Spook School once upon a time.
I could go on and on.
They do have a whole website of items you can buy that were inspired by his art.

my favorite antique shop where i bought those has turned into an overpriced tourist trap. I DID find a good postcard there.....

but I used to find something i couldn't live without every time i went. I think the lady who owned it, sold it, and now there's junk that costs $50 as opposed to $10.
I could rant about that all day.

but i agree with you! you need to post more about your passions! this is a good starting post! i can't wait to find out all about you!!!
